I'm a striaght male, and personally don't agree with Homosexuallity.

That being said, i was raised to respect the idea of tolerance to different ideas, and while your ideals my not be something I agree with, I don't think it's fair for me to tell you not to have them. As a matter of fact, I have had a few friends over they years who were openly gay and we never had issues so long as they understood that I wasn't and didn't push the issue.

I think this whole "Gay rights" thing is being blown out of all propoprtion, but not by the Gay rights people themselves, but by there opponents.

If you let them be, and not try to make social paraiahs out of them ,theres no big deal. I think thats the problem these days.

Leave them do what they do, so long as they leave the straight folk do what they do.

I don't think it's offensiveness just to get attention. I don't think whoever made the game really considered that calling the blobs gay would be an issue at all. I remember making simple games with The Games Factory; they aren't the sorts of things you put that level of thought into.

As a bisexual gamer I can only say ... I pretty much could care less personally if somebody creates a game like this. I believe it'll eventually be forgotten. It doesn't change at all that people become more sensible towards things like homosexuality. Thankfully, in todays world, in the country I live in, I rarely if ever feel singled out for what I feel anymore.

Most people have either learned to accept, to ignore, or something inbetween.

There are many sensible people who, even understand that homosexuals are are born the way they are. They did not chose to turn out that way, because it is not a choice you can make. If in doubt, you just go ahead and try to be attracted to the same sex for 5 minutes, I dare you.

If that was done to stir up some interest in the game ... that worked out pretty well.

Why even bother to report on this? It's not something that is going to be widely played by DS gamers, and putting an article about it on the front page of the site just gives it undeserved publicity. Stop feeding the trolls!

Y'know what's funny? The male chromosome is growing smaller. So, if humans live long enough (and excuse me if I'm wrong; biology isn't really my subject is science), then it'll eventually shrink until there's nothing but women (or at least most humans would be), and maybe, the human female body can evolve a way to self-impregnate itself, kind of like that one species of lizard that's all-female.

I don't think it really matters what the subject matter of the game is. People post anti-everything stuff on the web all the time. Why is this worse simply because it is a game?

If we are to defend games as speech we have to realize that there will be (and also required to be) unpopular games that deal with unpopular subject matter.

I get kind of irked when I hear arguments of "What if ____ comes next?". In this story GayGamer asks "[W]hat if Huntercool’s next project is a game in which you not only avoid the gay blobs, but also kill them? At what point does this go from offensive to scary?". Well, what if Huntercool's next game is an RPG that shows the Columbine Massacre from Derek Harris and Eric Klebold's point of view - That would be offensive AND scary. Oh wait...

Actually, homosexuality is, and has been proven to be, a genetic trait. BIsexuality is also a genetic trait. HOWEVER, as a bisexual, an individual would then be left with the choice (as much as anyone is in "chosing") who to have a relationship with.

Simple, logical answer:
They were born BISEXUAL. Therefore, each individual twin may very well be drawn to have relationships with individuals of different genders as much as they may be drawn to individuals with different hair color, different races, different social interests, or even different religions.

Society, in its desire to be "either/or", ignored the existance of those who could be both.

Individuals claiming to have "changed" from one to the other may have overlooked the possibility that they were BOTH but through verbal, mental, perhaps even physical or sexual abuse, that individual was forced, due to the bigotry of the abuser(s), to deny interest in one, and claim happiness with another.

There are some individuals who really are one or the other and are abused by dishonorable, unethical, corrupt bigots into BELIEVING they were "changed", and live unhappy lives, despite claims otherwise.

Whether you're the real John Bruce or not is irrelevant, these are clearly facts which have been ignored in the past and which should be looked into more closely.

(in the cartoon network airing they show the 2 staring at each other, naruto gets bumped and you hear a kissing sounds then the next scene is naruto retching, but they droped that specific image)

Oh I'm not suggesting we ignore him completely in real life. I still do suggest we limit our contact with this person. It seems the more we argue with him and the more we give him too much attention the more his claims become believable to those ignorant on the issue. We should be educating those who do not know much about video games instead of getting in a heated discussion with a foolish person aiming to mislead the public.

It is usually a sequence of events, experiences, and relationships that make a person violent or whatever they may be in life.
