On the Stump in New Hampshire, Huckabee Tries Guitar Hero

Now, I’m not saying I’m a Republican gamer, but if I was, which presidential candidate would be top of my list?

Certainly not Mitt Romney, who sees video games as part of an ocean of filth. Ditto for Sam Brownback, who’s pushing video game legislation in the Senate.

It’s gotta be former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, who was cool enough to take a turn at Guitar Hero during a recent New Hampshire campaign event. As reported by Foster’s Daily Democrat (Dover, NH):

The former Republican governor from Arkansas spent almost two hours talking one-on-one with voters during a meet-and-greet session…  After making the announcement, Huckabee thanked [a pair of supporters] for their contributions with guitars signed “Let’s Rock America”.

The former governor even took time at the end of the event to play the video game “Guitar Hero” with the [host’s] children as the party began to wind down.
