Hillary "Misspoke" About Bosnia - Now Comes the Video Game Version

March 29, 2008
Sen. Hillary Clinton's struggling campaign has taken a credibility hit over recent revelations that she misspoke about arriving in Bosnia under sniper fire in 1996.

Did you doubt for a moment that a video game version would be far behind?

Sinbad is down!
Grahamr:

I really enjoyed the episode. Regarding Basra, he discussed briefly the futility of our involvement in their civil war and his dismay that our "ally" in Iraq is now the Supreme Islamic Council.
Mabye she got it confused with one of her other visits.

Seriously with all the pot she's getting off Bill, those day's must be HAZY.
This was epic. I missed last night's Bill Maher, was it funny? Did he talk about Basra?
It woulda been funnier having a Mass Effect parody, but it's not like I'd expect him to care about something like that.... was still pretty good though. John McCain's Virtual Fireplace? LOL.
Chelsey cover me!
Lulz!
PWNED!
love how its a COD spoof with FFOW footage. it was pretty witty
LOL, not a bad parody at all, though I agree with DarkTetsuya that Mass Effect would have been better.
... I'd actually buy that virtual fireplace, regardless of McCain's name on it. As long as the physics are accurate, I wouldn't care. Nothing is more fun than pokin' a fire. Nothing.
That was just hilarious :p.
Countdown until someone throws together a custom Politician skin pack for CS:S....
Ghede: Me too..
Hilary "misspoke" riiiiiight, just like she's "misspoke" the several times before where she's pulled crap like this. I hope no one actually believes that.....
First i think thats a Battlefield mod and not a COD one...but i must say brilliantly well done..

and to be honest with you, i thought the title meant she misspoke about videogames, cause you know that will be a sign of some sort. :p
LOL...

Bill Maher FTW.
That was pretty funny but what really had me laughing was the John McCain's Virtual FirePlace...

X-Station 720 and the Yuu looks awesome.
Misspoking eh? We all do it, but most of us are honest enough to call them lies. :D

Gift.
@ Nash,

It's footage from Frontline(s): Fuels of War.

Besides it is more adapted than CoD footage anyway.

I really liked that one.
Fucking Hillarious! Im getting 3am call of duty!
GO: Thanks for posting that, it really brightened my day.
If this were true, I would so vote for Clinton! That was awesome!

If only, if only. I swear, Clinton and McCain are two of a kind (considering their opposite political parties). With their "misspokens" and back-alley deals with Joe Lieberman...Otherwise, I'd so vote for either of them (and buy their games)!
that was VERY GOOd, my hats off to everyone involved, LOL
Screw 3 A.M. Call of Duty. John McCain’s Virtual FirePlace is where it's at baby!

Maybe they can license the game to Bob Dole next? Or perhaps a celebrity like Abe Vigoda?
COMEDY!
No PS3-knock off?
@ddot

It's coming. Obama gets a basketball game.
Epic!
Umm... Hell yes!
"Because it takes a village to take a village"

Classic! I want in on Beta!
@ Belgarion89

Not basketball, Obama gets a "walking on eggshells" simulator with full Sixaxis support.

Is it just me, or is the term "misspoke" the new way of saying you lied without such a negative tone? Cooper Lawrence used the same term when she fessed up to lying about Mass Effect...
I'm so so so sick of Hillary. How can you "misspeak" that drastically.

We landed under fire = We arrived and a little girl read us a poem

Oops

Among some of the wiiware I've seen announced, that virtual fireplace game seems pretty tight. If you don't keep adding logs, you freeze. If you add too many and can't keep poking it every so often... your house burns down.

Brilliant stuff (compared to, say, major league eating).
that's amazing, just amazing.

I want the virtual fireplace!
No Cheney gun jokes?
In fairness, anyone could misspeak.
"I had to run for my life as I was shot at by a sniper who wanted me dead"
Does sound a lot like
"I strolled of a plane to where my entourage waited with refreshments."
I want John McCain’s Virtual Fireplace
Misspeaking is doubleplus ungood!
@Jay great 1984 reference, made me LOL.

Gift.
hahahahahaha

They also caught Hillary out on Rove Live in Australia.

They showed Hillary making that bogus (politically motivated) comment how she was SO BRAVE to run though the airport while under fire in Bosnia while they showed actural archived footage of her arriving peacefully from that plane back then to greet one of the girls at the air port and they were smilling.

And one of the comedians on Rove said, "RUN HILLARY RUN, THERE ARE BULLETS FLYING EVERYWHERE...DON'T SHAKE THAT LITTLE GIRL'S HANDS...OR ELSE YOU WILL BE HIT!!!!!"

It is so funny for politicans to lie but being caught out with archive footage like that.

Oh my God, Mccain's virtual fireplace doesn't have an ESRB rating on it. Who knows what kind of evil things you can be doing in that game. You might be cooking dead animals (read hot dogs) in the fire. We need to protect the children!
What would claiming to have been shot at by a sniper could possible add to why she should be president? Anybody can run and hide, it's like a basic instinct for all animals. Besides, I would think such a lie would be a great insult to those in Bosnia. Crazy Hillary, Trix are for kids.

Game: I wonder if Monica will be a boss or a traitor. Maybe their is some "hot coffee" were Bill and Monica are together. Pixel on pixel action
.....Is anybody else ticked that they used footage from frontlines fuel of war for the video but didn't even name the fake game after it? If your going to reference COD then at least use it in the vid
Other wise=amazing
.....Wow im annoying

You don 't "duck" sniper fire. They're pretty accuarate; you either get hit or not. I don't think there's an in between. How dumb does she think the American people are? And she had no reason to lie about it since it was so easily debunked. I mean she was caught on Camera for God's sake!!
@ Monkeyface,

Apparently, the F:FoW footage was more appropriate.

I guess they liked the "total war" feeling of the vehicules.

JDKJ: Which could be explained by both (a) and (b).
Posted 11/07/09 at 10:56am
Austin_Lewis: JDKJ: You forgot C) the fact that, for some reason, every time he did something that would suggest he shouldn't be in the military, let alone an officer, higher ups ignored it or let it slide.
Posted 11/07/09 at 10:51am
JDKJ: Part of the problem is, I believe, that (a) the Army had a lot of time and money already invested in him and which they were unwilling to simply write-off and (b) an increasing need for the type of skills and services he provided.
Posted 11/07/09 at 10:48am
JDKJ: And that even if he was begging not to get cut loose, he was apparently a real good candidate for being cut loose, anyway.
Posted 11/07/09 at 10:11am
JDKJ: @chada: And while Kennedy once noted that there's usually more than enough blame for everyone to get a slice, the possibility that the Army was unwilling to cut loose someone who was asking to get cut loose could be a factor.

chadachada321: Whoops, was out of the convo for awhile. I do wonder what type of ammo he used etc, but the real issue is WHY he did it, not HOW
Posted 11/07/09 at 09:56am
JDKJ: But if it turns out that they actually did, they'll have Hell to pay.
Posted 11/07/09 at 09:45am
JDKJ: And I'd tend to rule out the possibilty of FN Herstal supplying restricted ammunition to someone merely because they're ordering it from a military base.
Posted 11/07/09 at 09:37am
JDKJ: I know you don't leave your gated community and get around much in dark alleys, so you may be surprised to learn that there's this thing called "the black market" where, if you've got enough money, ain't too much of anything which can't be bought.
Posted 11/07/09 at 09:36am
Austin_Lewis: Or, maybe he or someone else at the base ordered the SS190 from FN Herstal.
Posted 11/07/09 at 09:32am
Austin_Lewis: the hands of private owners. They run about 300 dollars minimum for a box of 50, and boxes of AP 5.7 are extremely scarce, mainly residing in the hands of Class III stores or individuals who for one reason or another got a demo box of it.
Posted 11/07/09 at 09:30am
Austin_Lewis: There are other firearms that fire the 5.7. However, I too would like to know where he got the ammo and what kind was used. Maybe Hasan, planning not to live through this, went out and bought one the boxes of SS190 that are floating around in
Posted 11/07/09 at 08:44am
JDKJ: And it isn't yet clear what type of ammunition Hasan used. It's strange that he purchased a gun but didn't purchase ammunition for it at the same place and time. Especially because the calibre required is peculiar to the actual gun.
