Wannabe MMA Fighter Beats up New Videogame Buddy

October 13, 2010 -

Upon visiting a local sports bar, a San Antonio man made a new friend and invited him home to play videogames. Unfortunately the man’s new friend, a “self-proclaimed” mixed martial arts fighter, allegedly beat up the friendly gamer and robbed him.

Patrick Lockhart (pictured) was eventually arrested after his victim picked him out of a lineup. According to WOAI.com, the injured party was purportedly attacked, and knocked out, once the pair entered his home.

The victim suffered a broken jaw and black eye, in addition to having $2,000 in cash and his television stolen.

Lockhart was charged with aggravated robbery.

The potential moral to the story? It’s probably safer to play games on PSN or XBL rather than in person with strangers.

Re: Wannabe MMA Fighter Beats up New Videogame Buddy

Guy meets other guy in bar and brings him back home. Stories which start out like this never have a happy ending.

Re: Wannabe MMA Fighter Beats up New Videogame Buddy

Except for when it's a porno. Not that I myself watch THOSE kind, but, for guys who swing that way, the general plot is the same as the ones I watch that have chicks in them.

Re: Wannabe MMA Fighter Beats up New Videogame Buddy

I think the real moral to the story is don't take strangers back to your apartment. Go to theirs. And even then, they might chain you up in a man-sized cage and demand you recite Shakespeare's Hamlet in a perfect Christopher Walken impression, sticking you in the genitals with a cattle prod every time you mess up.

So on second thought just stay indoors everybody. There's wierdos out there.

MaskedPixelantehttp://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=144500932&postcount=740 Yup, DSFix was part of an unrelated take down, and is being resolved.12/23/2014 - 8:04am
prh99Of course had they not done such a rush on the port we wouldn't dsfix to make the game not look and play like ass. 720 internal renders aren't so hot scaled to 1080.12/23/2014 - 7:38am
Papa MidnightIt was most likely an automated tool. Happens all the time. Just another case of the broken DMCA Claim and Takedown process that puts the entirety of the burden of proof on the accused instead of the claimant.12/22/2014 - 10:09pm

MaskedPixelanteSounds like BN was going after an unrelated mod, and took out DSFix in the process. Probably once a counterclaim goes out, this'll all be sorted out.12/22/2014 - 7:04pm
