Awesome Games Done Quick 2012 to Benefit The Prevent Cancer Foundation

January 2, 2012 -

Speed Demos Archive is looking for some help to raise money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, starting on January 4. As you can probably glean from the title of the group, they are dedicated to running through games in the shortest amount of time possible, and enjoy posting their exploits on places like YouTube for notoriety’s sake.

The fundraiser, "Awesome Games Done Quick 2012" will take place beginning January 4 until January 9 with plans to speed through such games as Super Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, Castlevania, Halo: Reach, Super Mario Galaxy, and more - all live streamed online for your entertainment.

The stream will begin on Wednesday, January 4 from the speeddemosarchive.com site. You can do your part by rewarding their efforts with donations. All proceeds will go to The Prevent Cancer Foundation.
