N-Control, creators of the Avenger adapter for the Xbox 360 controller, has donated $10,000 to Child’s Play in an attempt to make amends for the bad PR related to Ocean Marketing (Ocean Stratagy) and Paul Christoforo. After Penny Arcade made Christoforo and his ill behavior with a customer public - and promised to ban him from all future PAX events, N-Control decided to get rid of the colorful "social media marketer."
N-Control subsequently apologized for Christoforo's treatment of "Dave," and this week donated a whopping $10,000 to Penny Arcade’s Charity in addition to pledging $50,000 worth of Avenger product should Child's Play find a need for it.
The firm is no longer taking new orders on its Avenger device and is instead focusing on fulfilling orders from anxious customers.

Good. They are doing everything right, sounds like they hired a PR guy who knows what he is doing this time around. They've fired the jackass Christoforo (whose whole life is apparently a 'bad day'), they've apologized for his behavior, they've donated to the charity associated with the website that broke this story in the first place and most importantly they are not taking any new orders until they get their production problems under control.
There could not be a better example of right way to do things versus wrong way to do things.

Indeed. If anything can be saved from the PR debacle, then they are doing everything right to save it.

Which makes me wonder how Christoforo is doing (depressingly, I am guessing even after this he is pulling in more cash then I ever will....)
