Noobz Movie Trailer, Theatrical Release Date

Wunderkind Pictures has released the trailer for its new film, Noobz, the story of four gamers on a quest to survive a road trip and win a Gears of War national championship (the Cyberbowl video game championship). They also announced that the film would see a theatrical release sometime this summer. The film stars Jason Mewes (Jay and Silent Bob), Blake Freeman (Gawd Bless America), Moises Arias (Ender's Game), Matt Shively (True Jackson, VP), Zelda Williams, Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers) and Jon Gries (Napoleon Dynamite). There's also a cameo by G4's Adams Sessler.

The film was funded by Ela Lux Media, LLC. It's written and directed by Blake Freeman, and co-written by Marvin Willson, and produced by Wunderkind's Danielle R. Crane, Jason Vu Brown, Shane Duffy and Julie Thomas Knap.

    It doersn't look very good from the preview, but I'll give it a chance.  I hope it isn't a hastily thrown together poorly made movie in an attempted cash-in on e-sports' increasing popularity.
