Leaders from BioWare and Zynga are just some of the speakers lined up for the East Coast Games Conference set to take place in Raleigh, North Carolina April 25–26. The annual event put together by the Triangle Gaming Initiative (TGI) is a gathering for game developers, publishers and other industry professionals that call the East Coast home. BioWare Senior Creative Director Paul Barnett and Zynga East Coast Executive Producer Paul Stephanouk will each deliver keynotes on their specific areas of expertise and discuss the current and future state of the industry as they see it.
Paul Barnett has over twenty years experience creating games like Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. His current task is putting BioWare games in a browser. He’ll share his views on where he thinks games are now, where they are headed, and their general impact on the world.
Paul Stephanouk is the Executive Producer at Zynga’s East Coast studio in Baltimore, Maryland – which he helped establish. Paul led the production of online hit FrontierVille and is currently working on an unannounced project. Before building social games, Paul produced and designed video games for consoles, PC, and web including Rise of Nations and Catan.
