A Parody of Coldplay’s Viva la Vida in Minecraft

April 3, 2012 -

Every once in awhile someone creates a parody that is absolutely brilliant, but this music video of Coldplay's "Viva la Vida" built inside Minecraft is quite impressive. The song is performed by TryHardNinja and the world map seems to have been built specifically for the video.

You can check out "Fallen Kingdom" - A Minecraft Parody of Coldplay's Viva la Vida on YouTube or watch it to your left. It's much more brilliant and less pathetic than that drunken rendition of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody from the back of a police car (but not quite as amusing, admittedly).

TryHardNinja has done a few of these, my favourite is a cover of 'DJ Got us falling in love' by Usher

It's too bad it wasn't actually built inside of Minecraft, it would be awesome if the Minecraft engine could do a lot of the things in the video.  From the description I was expecting something actually in Minecraft with some added CGI, rather than what appears to have just been built to look like Minecraft.
