The Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA) has reappointed board members from six companies including Dish Network, Giant Eagle, Rain City Video, Redbox, Rentrak, and Target have been reappointed to the board for a term of three years. The board members of the trade group representing retailers, entertainment rental companies, and entertainment companies join existing board members Amazon, Best Buy, Emerald City Video, GameFly, GameStop, Hastings Entertainment, Ingram Entertainment, Netflix, Toys “R” Us, Trans World Entertainment, Video Headquarters and Wal-Mart.
"We are grateful to our members who have volunteered to help steer the Association in this important time in our industry," said EMA president and CEO Bo Andersen. "We value their guidance and leadership and look forward to continuing to work with them."
Ingram’s Bob Geistman has also been re-elected as chairman for an eighth consecutive term, while Hastings’ John Marmaduke will serve as vice chairman, Dish Network’s Bruce Eisen will serve as secretary, Rentrak’s Marty Graham will serve as the treasurer, and Gamefly’s Mike Gimlett will serve as an "at-large member" of the trade group’s executive committee.
