On October 20th, Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward will participate in Extra Life’s 24-hour gaming marathon to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospital where kids are treated regardless of their family’s ability to cover medical costs.
Infinity Ward’s team hopes to raise $10,000 (and as of this writing, has already garnered $757 in pledges) for its local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Other teams participating in this year’s event are G4TV, Frag Dolls, Giant Bomb, and Wild Tangent.
Teams participating in last year’s Extra Life charity game marathon raised a cumulative total of over $1.2 million.
If you’d like to make a pledge, click on one of the aforementioned organizations to go to that team’s pledge page or visit Extra Life’s site here. Donations are tax-deductible and all proceeds go to the charity.
