BioWare Founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk Resign

According to this Gamasutra report BioWare founders Doctors Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk have left the company. The wholly-owned Electronic Arts studio was founded by the good doctors in 1996 and is best known for creating such hit franchises as Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age. The duo resigned from the company to tackle what they call "an entirely different set of challenges." The company was acquired by EA in 2007.

What the two founding members of BioWare plan to do is unknown at this point but when we hear more we'll let you know.

…what do you mean it just joined. Once EA bought Bioware a couple years ago, it was noticeable that who controlled the company. Dr Muzyka (great guy btw) was probably sick of taking the corporate reaming from EA. Back when I used to hang out at their studios in the south side at a semi frequent basis, they took pride on how they took pride on how awesome of an indy game developer they were. EA already fumbled a great idea with SW:TOR. EA has already begun to ruin my hometown pride company :\
