Funcom's latest MMO The Secret World continues to see an evolution as the company tries to do its best in spite of a bad start and some underwhelming performance of the title since launch. Today the company announced that lead content designer Joel Bylos has been named director for all of the game's post-launch content going forward.
Bylos will now work closely with Secret World producer Scott Junior and creative director Ragnar Tørnquist on expanding The Secret World's overall setting and storylines. Bylos previously handled the post-launch content for Funcom's fantasy MMO Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, including the "Rise of the Godslayer" expansion.
"I am very proud of what we as a team have created with The Secret World, and it is truly a brilliant canvas that will allow us to create more groundbreaking MMO experiences for many years to come," Bylos said in a press release. "The Secret World is only really getting started, and with a game world that draws upon our own real world, there is no limit to what sort of amazing stories we can tell and fantastic locations we can visit in the upcoming content updates."
