Saints Row The Third GOTY Gets Sexy Name

Continuing to push the envelope ever-so-slightly, THQ announced that the next retail release to its popular and sometimes adult themed third-person sandbox action game Saints Row The Third will happen on November 6 and will be called "The Full Package." No one will ever think there's something sexually suggestive about that title… Whatever happened to calling this kind of compilation a "Game of the Year" Edition?

The Full Package will be available in North America on November 6 and internationally on November 9 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Network and Windows PC for the suggested retail price of $49.99.

The Full Package includes the full Saints Row: The Third game and the three downloadable mission packs Genkibowl VII, Gangstas In Space, and The Trouble With Clones. It will also offer more than 30 bonus DLC items from such hits as the Shark Attack pack, Witches & Wieners pack, Special Operations pack, and the Genki Girl Vehicle pack.

"The fans have asked for it, and with the Full Package, we are happy to deliver," said Kevin Kraff, Vice President, Global Brand Management for THQ. "With all the amazing and over-the-top DLC Volition created, the Full Package now stands as the definitive edition of Saints Row: The Third. For anyone that has yet to play this one-of-a-kind game, it’s time to strap it on."

Yes, apparently it's time to strap "it" on. Ahem.

The PC port is actually really well done, not only borderline seamless with a well thought out setup for PC users but also the ability to dynamically change control setups. For example if you want to use a 360 pad for flying all you have to do is pick up the controller and use it. Once done you can put it back down and go back to keyboard and mouse without having to go into options or anything like that.

It's actually one of the best PC ports I've seen in a while.
