Let’s play a word association game. I’m going to say a word, and you tell me what pops in your head. Ready? Okay, here we go…
Quick! Vote in the poll on the right and tell us if that word makes you think specifically of Apple, Amazon, or just a store that sells apps. If it makes you think of something else like “sex” or “The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man,” let us know in the comments or send us an email at SuperPACPodcast@gmail.com. Then seek professional help you weirdo, you.
What’s this poll all about, you ask? Well, Apple is suing Amazon, alleging that its “Amazon Appstore” violates its “App Store” trademark and will trick consumers into thinking that Apple endorses or supports Amazon’s service. Amazon argues that “app store” is simply a generic term indicative of a store that sells apps and in no way misleading to customers.
Tune in to Episode 23 of Super Podcast Action Committee next week and we’ll opine on this topic and discuss any particularly spiffy comments you leave here or email to us. Doesn’t that sound like fun? Oh come on, there will be cake!
Of course, it’s a podcast so the best you can expect is to listen to me chew but hey, cake!
