Speaking to the New York Times, social game developer Supercell claims that it is raking in copious amounts of cash with its mobile endeavors. How much cash is it making on a daily basis of its games? According to the company, it is averaging over $500,000 a day from two of its most popular releases.
Earlier this year the Helsinki, Finland-based studio adopted a "tablet-first" mobile strategy. That strategy seems to be paying off for the company. It claims that its cut after Apple takes its portion of sales from its two popular titles Hay Day and Clash of Clans is $350,000 a day in revenue. If true, that amounts to roughly $10.5 million a month – $15 million prior to Apple's cut.
