Amazon Apologizes for Missing Game in Wii U Premium Bundle, Offers Download Codes

December 3, 2012 -

Online retailer Amazon has apologized to UK customers who purchased a premium Wii U bundle but didn't get a copy of the game Nintendo Land. The retailer blamed supplier error for the omission of the game and said that the error only affected a small number of customers.

"It's been brought to our attention that a small number of orders for this item may have been delivered without the advertised game, Nintendo Land, due to supplier error," an email to customers confirmed.

The retailer went on to say that it would send out download codes for the game to all affected customers.

"In the event that your order was one of the small number missing the game, please use the following code and instructions below, to download the game."

Of course, this may further agitate customers who will now have to waste the limited space of their Wii U console to play Nintendo Land. It would be a different scenario if they had a physical retail disc of the game because it would use up less of the system's storage...

We'll have to see how those affected by this error will react to the prospect of having to spend the time downloading the game and using up important storage space for one game because of someone else's mistakes...
