Humble THQ Bundle Rakes in over $4.3 Million

December 10, 2012 -

UPDATE:  Humble Bundle has added Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Game of the Year Edition to the games you'll pick up if you pay over the average price.

The Humble THQ Bundle has managed to sail past the $4.3 million mark on 766,000 bundle sales, according to the latest figures (which are rapidly changing) on the Humble Bundle web site. The average price of this Windows-only THQ-themed bundle is $5.63 at the moment. Last week the Humble THQ Bundle added bonus content to further encourage gamers to pick up the collection of THQ games: the Diablo-like action RPG Titan Quest and the Red Faction: Armageddon DLC pack, Path of War.

These extras joined the games Red Faction: Armageddon, Darksiders, Metro 2033, Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts, Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, and Saints Row The Third.

Even if you don't plan on every playing most of the games yourself, it'd probably make an excellent gift for someone else. Best bundle yet since these are all very well known AAA titles. Hopefully it helped both THQ and the charities out a lot. I wonder if any other big name publishers will do this in the future.

Don't know if they added this after the article went up but Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War GOTY edition is now part of the "beat the average" package.
