Dark Souls II Wii U Petition Gathers 10K Signatures

While we're not sure if it will ultimately sway the publisher and developer of Dark Souls II, we applaud the efforts of the people behind a petition on Change.org, who managed to get 10,000 signatures on a petition asking From Software and publisher Namco Bandai to bring the game to the Wii U.

The creator of the petition says that the Wii U is a "worthwhile platform" for Dark Souls II to be on because the Wii U's GamePad would open up "beneficial inventory management options," and because the Wii U is affordable compared to the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. He also notes that online costs 50 cents to set up on the Wii U, while Xbox Live costs over $50.

While 10,000 signatures is a great start, the petition needs 89,196, according to Change.org's calculations. If you are passionate about seeing the game on the Wii U, you can sign the petition here.

Yeah, that quote is the first thing that stood out to me too.

I'm also surprised he bothered to mention the $.50 charge when it only applies to registering minors.

Let's see what amazon has to say…

    Cheapest WiiU: 300€

    Cheapest 360: 160€

    Cheapest PS3: 200€
