Third NUBUWO Game Music Bundle Seeks Public Funding

With just nine days to go, the latest indie game music bundle, "THE NUBUWO WINTER BUNDLE" has managed to raise $2,900 of its $8,000 goal from 124 backers. The Kickstarter campaign urges supporters to "discover game-inspired music and fund Tokyo's FAMI-MODE 2012 DVD, featuring live chip music performances and interviews."

THE NUBUWO WINTER BUNDLE is the third in a series of album collections that highlights independent video game music from around the world. The proceeds from this Kickstarter project benefit the featured artists and will fund the FAMI-MODE 2012 DVD, which was filmed during the all-night 8-bit inspired music festival organized by Tokyo game culture shop METEOR.

The Indie Pack and Fami Pack music albums are featured in the Winter Bundle, which contain the following content:

  • Rainbow Moon Melodies, music from the PSN game, by Rafael Dyll
  • Slipstream [Volume One] by CoLD SToRAGE, revisiting music from WipEout
  • El Huervo Trilogy, featuring Kometen, Hotline Miami and Clairvoyance tracks
  • FTL (Faster Than Light) Soundtrack by Ben Prunty

  • 8-Bit Jesus holiday chiptune compilation by Doctor Octoroc
  • Mega Ran Fifth Anniversary Edition, Mega Man cover album by Random
  • Killed by Koopa Stage One, and Mutherpluckin' B preview tracks
  • FAMI-MODE 2012 Live Recordings, presented by METEOR
