Report: Multiple Bond Games Disappear from Digital Store Fronts

A number of Activision's James Bond games have disappeared from Valve software's Steam digital distribution platform, Xbox 360's Games on Demand service and Activision's own store, according to GameSpot.

Windows versions of 007 Legends, James Bond 007: Blood Stone, and Quantum of Solace are no longer available to purchase from Steam. A search for the game on Activision's own store also turned up no results and the Xbox 360 Games on Demand version of GoldenEye 007: Reloaded has also disappeared. GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is still available via the PlayStation Store.

Activision has yet to publicly comment on why these games were removed from various digital store fronts, but some are speculating that the move may come down to the expiration of the James Bond licensing that Activision holds expiring in 2014. Activision may have pulled the widely-panned 007 Legends from now defunct studio Eurocom simply because it wasn't performing very well…

We'll have more on this story as new information comes to light…
