Indie game development studio Molleindustria has created a game called The Best Amendment, which it describes as an "unofficial NRA Game" that they say demonstrates why some of the NRA's stances on guns do not work.
The game quotes NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre to get things rolling: "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun," and then attempts to disprove the statement through gameplay. The player is armed with a gun and charged with collecting stars while avoiding being killed by an increasing number of armed gunmen. These gunman mirrors the moves the player made.
Molleindustria offers a cheeky features list which claims the game includes "moral relativism," "unique massively single player gameplay," and a Bluegrass soundtrack. The game is available for Mac, Windows PC and Flash-enabled browsers. Normally Molleindustria titles are free but this time the studio is asking players to "pay what you feel."
