Digital Eel has turned to Kickstarter to fund the follow-up title to its wonderful rogue-like space adventure games Strange Adventures and Weird Worlds. The new game is called Sea of Stars and features the same kind of lunch-break-length space adventures complete with randomly generated worlds, space exploration, turn-based space combat and the kind of quirky humor that the previous titles are known for.
Digital Eel is seeking $30,000 to fund the game for Windows, and is offering a variety of interesting rewards at the high end of the reward tier like getting the pleasure of designing various items and NPCs within the game and a gold plated ship (not actual size!) that you helped design.
So far Digital Eel has raised $1,497 of its $30,000 goal with 29 more days to go. You can learn more about the game by watching the pitch video above or by visiting the game's Kickstarter page.
If you have never played an Infinite Space game, then you can learn more about them - and the board game set in the same universe here.
