GameStop is giving a $50 credit to users who trade in Xbox 360 versions of select games for Xbox One copies. The promotion covers standard retail editions of Call of Duty: Ghosts, Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
There are a few requirements to take advantage of this deal, naturally. For one, you must be a member of GameStop's PowerUp Rewards program. You'll also have to purchase an eligible Xbox 360 game within 30 days of its launch too. When you can finally trade those eligible titles in for sparkly new Xbox One versions, you'll receive the $50 credit as a coupon deposited into your PowerUp Rewards account. You'll have to use that credit before the end of 2013.
"This offer gives [GameStop's PowerUp Rewards] members the chance to upgrade their current Xbox 360 game for the new Xbox One standard version of that game for $9.99," said GameStop senior vice president of merchandising Bob Purzon.
GameStop says the promotion will run across all of its U.S. stores.
