Oops! Hardware makers Nvidia accidently disclosed that Grand Theft Auto is actually coming to the PC, and that it will be published this fall. During a financial call last week Nvidia senior director of investor relations Chris Evenden told investors that PC gamers could expect a beefy line-up of decent titles including "Call of Duty: Ghosts, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Assassin's Creed 4."
"[PC] gamers are preparing their systems for a strong roster of games coming this fall, including blockbuster franchises such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Assassin's Creed 4," said Evenden during a financial call last week as transcribed by Seeking Alpha.
Assuming that Nvidia is not misinformed about the PC release date for GTA, that would put it out in the wild at about the same time as the game hits the PS3 and Xbox 360 (September 17). It makes sense, given that 315,314 supporters have signed a petition on Change.org asking Rockstar Games to bring the game to PC…
Nvidia and Rockstar Games have not publicly commented on this story as of this writing.
