Humble Origin Bundle Adds Populous and C&C to Line-Up

August 22, 2013 - GamePolitics Staff

The Humble Origin Bundle has two new games to choose from, if bundle purchasers are willing to pay more than the average price - currently at $4.82. The two new games are C&C: Red Alert 3 - Uprising for Steam and Origin, and Populous for Origin.

These two new games join Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Mirror's Edge, and Medal of Honor. Paying more than the average price will get you The Sims 3 + Starter Pack and Battlefield 3.

All of the games except Battlefield 3, The Sims 3 + Starter Pack, Populous, and Dead Space 3 are available for Steam. Those four titles will require you to install Origin on your system. The Sims 3 is the only game available for Mac.

If you can get by the fact that this is clearly not a DRM-free bundle, then you can find out more about it on www.humblebundle.com. One-hundred percent of EA's profits are being given to five charities: the Human Rights Campaign; Watsi; the San Francisco AIDS Foundation; the American Red Cross; the American Cancer Society; and GamesAid.

To date, the Humble Origin Bundle has generated over $8.2 million from the sale of roughly 1.7 million bundles.

Eh screw it...I caved and bought them lol. Enough are available on Steam and most of them I didn't have on PC anyways.

I checked my email today to find the email from them telling me they were added.  I already bought it, so I was all like, "cool birthday present!"
