Poll Results: Which Console Will Sell Best This Holiday?

Last week we asked our readers which console system would sell the best this holiday season. Around 423 votes were cast and the majority of you believe that the PlayStation 4 will rise to the occasion, beating out Microsoft's Xbox One and Nintendo's Wii U.

Despite the fact that Microsoft has reversed every negative policy it revealed during E3, and that Nintendo has a new line-up of games and a console that now costs $50 less to buy, the majority of you still think the PS4 will win the first round of this new console war during the holiday shopping season.

Seventy percent of voters said that the PlayStation 4 will be the best-selling console by the year's end, while 15 percent went with Microsoft's console, and 15 percent went with the Wii U.

Thanks to everyone who voted in this week's poll. Look for a new poll later this week!

This generation at some point I have owned all the consoles, although only one getting any serious play time from me is PS3.

Next generation, I am actually quite confident I can make do with just PS4. Sony has by far the strongest 1st party portfolio and PS4 will have the best versions of all multiplatforms. I'm sorry to say that I have never found any Nintendo franchise in any way appealing and pretty much all Xbone games worth playing will be coming to PC.
