Publisher acttil announced that the Kickstarter campaign for Reborn has launched today. Developed by Elemental-Labs, Reborn is a real-time 3D action role-playing game with a heavy focus on weapons and cyborg augmentations. The game is set in the future sounding Neo-Tokyo in the year 2188 where a futuristic version of the legendary Japanese swordsman Musashi Miyamoto battles an evil corporation.
The game is being designed by a small team of developers using the Unreal Engine technology (Unreal Engine 3 for current generation systems and Unreal Engine 4 for Xbox One and PS4). If fully funded, Element-Labs and acttil hope to release the game digitally for PS3 and PS4 in late 2014. If it surpasses its funding goal of $200,000 and meets various stretch goals, the game could be coming to Xbox One, PS Vita, and Windows through Steam.
You can learn more about the game here or check out the pitch video to your left. The game will be published by acttil, a new publisher founded by several former members of NIS America.
