GameStop has partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to raise at least $500,000 in charitable donations for the annual St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign, which involves a number of companies and personalities including celebrities, media, retail and corporate brands. They all come together to ask consumers to donate while they shop during the holiday season and join St. Jude in finding cures for sick children.
"At GameStop, we are passionate about giving back in our communities, and this is an excellent way for us to provide children with a better quality of life," said Tony Bartel, president of GameStop. "Being a father of six children, I can honestly say that the work St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is doing is nothing short of miraculous. I have no doubt that we will exceed our goal this year and I'm looking forward to a long and successful partnership with St. Jude."

Customers who shop at GameStop beginning November 6, 2013, until December 24, 2013, will have the opportunity to donate $1 to the children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. GameStop and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are asking the public to, "Give thanks for the healthy kids in your life, and give to those who are not."
