With only three more days to go, MidBoss Games' Read Only Memories is $10,000 from reaching its funding goal. As of this writing, the cyberpunk-themed point-and-click adventure game has managed to raise $52,074 of its $62,064 goal from 1,139 backers with just three more days to go before its funding goal deadline on Kickstarter comes to a close.
The old-school adventure is described by its creators as a cyberpunk themed point-and-click adventure game set in a future San Francisco (circa 2064) featuring a wide variety of characters including straight, gay, lesbian, transgendered folk, etc. MidBoss Games says that the game's design is heavily influenced by the best 90's adventure games such as Sam & Max, Maniac Mansion, Snatcher, and The Secret of Monkey Island.
The developers of Read Only Memories are seeking funding to complete development and test the game on various platforms including Mac, PC, iOS, Android and Ouya systems. Additional stretch goals are planned, and will enable the team to bring the game to additional platforms including Linux, Steam, PS4, Xbox One, PS Vita, and Wii U.

Over the weekend, organizers also revealed that those who back both ROM and the kart racing game Super World Karts GP will be able to play as Turing. Turing, in case you don't know, is the mascot from Gaymer X and GaymerConnect. He'll get his own cameo in the game complete with a wacky vehicle to drive. You can find out more at the links above.
