Far Cry 2 and Splinter Cell designer Clint Hocking has left Valve, as confirmed by Gamasutra and Hocking's personal website.
According to Hocking's web site, he left the company at the end of 2013. Hocking was supposedly working on Left 4 Dead 3, which Valve has yet to officially announce.
Independent sources have also confirmed Hocking's departure from the company with Gamasutra, though details on whether that departure was an amicable one are unknown at this time. Where Hocking goes after Valve is also unknown.
Hocking previously worked as a creative director at Ubisoft – a position he took after working in the same position at LucasArts. He joined Valve in 2013. While at Ubisoft he helped develop Far Cry 2 and Splinter Cell…
