Latest GTA V Update Deals With Cheats and Exploits

January 13, 2014 - GamePolitics Staff

Rockstar has released Grand Theft Auto V title update 1.09, which deals specifically with cheating and exploits in its popular crime caper game for various platforms. According to a very brief update on the Rockstar support website, the update offers "improved anti-cheat measures" and a "fix for several GTA$ and RP exploits."

In December the company started banning some cheaters who were gaining money through exploits - and in some cases - sharing it with complete strangers in the game.

Rockstar has also released development tools which enable players to create their own custom deathmatches and race scenarios.

Rockstar will launch what it calls "substantial" DLC this year that expands the single-player story.

This seems like a good thing, but the selfish side of me is like, "I only play GTA Online with a single friend of mine, so meh. Just fix motorbikes re ramps already!"
