The Entertainment Merchant's Association has added four new firms to its organization as members. The companies are CaptionMax, Group 1200 Media, Sony DADC New Media Solutions, and Phase 4 Films. The EMA is a trade group representing the entertainment industry and retail, focusing on issues that affect both like taxes, censorship, and more.
CaptionMax is a closed captioning, subtitling, transcription and video description service. CaptionMax provides media accessibility services to many members of EMA including Amazon, Best Buy, HBO, Netflix, Screen Media and Target. The company has offices in Burbank, Minneapolis and New York.
Group 1200 Media describes itself as a "multifaceted entertainment conglomerate" whose holdings include FUNimation Entertainment, Giant Ape Media, and Group 1200 Products (GameSamba and Immerz).
Phase 4 Films is an independent studio with offices in nine cities in the U.S. and Canada, Phase 4 provides sales, marketing, licensing and distribution services for feature films, television and special interest content across all media in the North American market.
Finally, Sony DADC New Media Solutions provides digital supply chain solutions to major film studios, broadcasters, music labels, game companies, and other content providers.
