PopCap's upcoming game Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will "definitely not" have microtransactions when it launches, but PopCap Games producer Brian Lindley hinted that it could later on down the road. Confirming to GameSpot that the company had no plans to include such features at launch Lindley went to say that the company would look at the games metrics post-launch to figure out how to support it on an ongoing basis.
He would not rule out a feature implementation of microtransactions in the game. Lindley also wasn't keen on talking about the resolution for the game on Xbox One.
"The Xbox One outputs in 1080p," and "we're not running at the same resolution as [Battlefield 4]." Battlefield 4 runs at 720p.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare launches on Xbox 360 and Xbox One February 25.
