PopCap Games Headline Humble Bundle Weekly Sale

March 6, 2014 - GamePolitics Staff

This week's Humble Weekly Sale features eight games from PopCap Games if you are willing to pay more than the average price. All of the games are available for either Steam or EA's Origin digital distribution platforms, and seven of them are playable on Mac.

Pay whatever you want to get Peggle Deluxe, Bejeweled 3, Bookworm Deluxe, Escape Rosecliff Island, and Feeding Frenzy 2 Deluxe. Paying more than $6 will get you three more decent PopCap games including Plants vs Zombies GOTY Edition, Peggle Nights and Zuma's Revenge! - though the Origin version of Zuma's Revenge is only playable on Macs.

Electronic Arts will donate 100 hundred percent of the proceeds to the V Foundation for Cancer Research and The Melanoma Research Alliance.

You can grab the bundle by visiting www.humblebundle.com/weekly.

I'll give you some credit, EA. You're donating all proceeds to charity again and at least you're letting us play all the games on Steam this time.

Don't push your luck though, you're still one of the most vile, despicable companies that exists.

Re: PopCap Games Headline Humble Bundle Weekly Sale

Seeing how this is the second time they've done this type of setup where all money generated through it goes to charity, I'm definitely seeing them in a [slightly] softer light than I have been.

And at least this time it appears all games are playable via Steam or Origin, whereas the last time they had games which were only available on Origin (obviously since they weren't released on Steam, but still)... It's kind of irritating buying a pack of games which predominantly use Steam and saying "Here, these are for Steam too! Except these 3, they can only be played at our house."
