TIGA to Run Games Tax Relief Tour in May

April 23, 2014 - GamePolitics Staff

TIGA, the trade group that represents the video games industry in the UK, announced that it will facilitate a series of events around the country to help developers understand the importance of the new Games Tax Relief recently approved by the government. The tour will start in Oxford, England sometime in May, and all of the events will be free for developers to attend. These events will feature input from UK industry veterans as well.

"TIGA is focused on helping game developers and digital publishers succeed. So we are organizing the TIGA GTR Tour to help developers understand how tax relief can unleash the creative and financial potential of their studios, and drive innovation & experimentation in their business," said TIGA CEO Dr. Richard Wilson.

"We want as many game developers and digital publishers to benefit from GTR and so we are bringing together a range of expert speakers to a range of different locations across the UK."
