The original PC version of Minecraft has gone past the 15 million sales milestone, according to a new announcement by its creator. The news comes from Minecraft creator and Mojang co-founder Markus Persson, who posted the news on Twitter.
Mojang reported 14.3 million copies of the PC version of the game had sold as of late February. Earlier this month the company announced that the Xbox 360 edition of the game had surpassed 12 million sales, and that the mobile version (iOS and Android combined) had topped 21 million sales. Xbox One, PS4 and Vita versions of Minecraft are currently in development.
