EMA Adds Three New Members

Trade group the Entertainment Merchants Association has added three new companies as members today. Those companies include film company Lionsgate, Barnes & Noble's Nook Media, and hoopla digital.

Barnes & Noble, Inc. is a leading retailer of content, digital media and educational products. Its Nook Media subsidiary is a digital eBook platform offering new and classic books, magazines and more. Barnes & Noble College Booksellers operates 696 bookstores serving over 4.6 million students and faculty members at colleges and universities across the United States.

hoopla digital partners with public, military and university libraries to provide online and mobile access to thousands of movies, TV shows, full-length music albums, audiobooks and e-books. The company is a service of Midwest Tape – a trusted partner to libraries for over 25 years.

Finally, Lionsgate is a leading global entertainment company. The company produces and distributes television programming and syndication, home entertainment, family entertainment, digital distribution, new channel platforms and international distribution and sales.
