Oculus VR, the creators of the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, announced today that its very first game development conference will take place in September. The event, Oculus Connect, will run from September 19-20 at the Los Angeles' Loews Hotel. Oculus says that the event will "bring together engineers, designers, and creatives from around the world to share and collaborate in the interest of creating the best virtual reality experiences possible."
Oculus employees including CTO John Carmack, founder Palmer Luckey, CEO Brendan Iribe, and Chief Scientist Michael Abrash will all deliver keynotes during the event. While details are still thin, organizers say that sessions and panels, along with upcoming Oculus technology will also be part of the event.
Attendee registration opens July 10 to the public, though keynotes will be live-streamed online for anyone to watch.
