Keynote Speakers Revealed for 2014 Serious Play Conference

The Serious Play Conference announced today its line-up of game industry speakers taking part in its fourth annual event from Tuesday, July 22 to Thursday, July 24 at USC in Los Angeles. Speakers for this year's event include Noah Falstein, Chief Game Designer at Google; Trip Hawkins, Founder of Electronic Arts (and current CEO of Ifyoucan); and Peter Marx, Chief Innovation Technology Officer of the City of Los Angeles.

Falstein's keynote will focus on how new and emerging technologies will revolutionize development of new games for training, health and education. Hawkins will focus on how to develop an effective educational game and on integrating assessment tools. Marx will talk about creating an urban environment where technology in serious games and applications dramatically changes the way people learn and live.

Serious Play Conference is a leadership event for senior game designers and stakeholders to share their experiences developing applications in the corporate, military, education, museum, and games for good sectors in an effort to push the performance of game-based learning.
