The PlayStation Network continues to have connectivity problems today, but Sony says that it is working diligently to get the system back online and in working order.
Earlier today the official PlayStation Twitter account acknowledged that it was aware of issues with connecting to the PlayStation Network in North America and Europe and that it was working on it.
Sony did not explain what is causing the current issues that are causing problems for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PS Vita users trying to connect to PlayStation Network.

Sony later promised to restore connectivity to the entire network shortly.

It is unclear if these latest issues are related to issues caused by distributed denial of service attacks that forced the company to take some network services offline on Sunday.
We will have more on this story as it develops.
