Help GamesAid Decide Which UK Charities to Fund in 2014

September 2, 2014 - GamePolitics Staff

Voting has opened for which UK-based charitable organization GamesAid will support this year through various fundraising efforts. You can help them by visiting this link and casting your vote for one of the following charities. While GamesAid is a gaming-focused charity, the organization hands out donations to a wide variety of worthy causes.

This year's candidates are:

  • Accuro
  • Action For Kids
  • Jigsaw4U
  • Lifelites
  • MAPS
  • Myasthenia Gravis Association
  • Safe At Last
  • Special Effect
  • The Honeypot Children's Charity

To be eligible to receive funds from GamesAid the charity must be based in the United Kingdom, must have low operating costs and has to be aimed at helping children or young adults. In 2013 GamesAid handed out a total of £260,000 to five different charities. Voting ends on Sept. 9.
