Academics in Turkey call for 'Minecraft Report' to be released

It further notes that academics and experts who study video games should evaluate it before any attempts to seek court actions against the game takes place.

Atlanta teen severely burned in dispute over a stolen PS3

An Atlanta teen was severely burned by two men because they believed he stole a PlayStation 3. According to Atlanta-based news station WSBTV, 17-year-old Damon Clay was asleep on relative's couch when 19-year-old Quintavious Barber and 18-year-old Malik Moton (supposedly his friends) attacked him after accusing him of stealing a PlayStation 3. The duo allegedly dumped a boiling hot pot of rice on Clay while he slept. Read more

Atlus making 'minor edits' to U.S. release of 'Dungeon Travelers 2'

Siliconera reports that Atlus will make four specific edits to the U.S. version of its upcoming first-person, turn-based RPG, Dungeon Travelers 2.

Atlus issued a press release explaining the "minor edits" to the game - a move it made to make sure the game avoided creating offense to Western audiences and to avoid an "Adults Only" rating by the ESRB. Here's what the company said:

Comcast officially abandons Time Warner Cable merger plans

The $45 billion merger deal between Comcast and Time Warner Cable is officially dead. Comcast announced this morning that it would abandon the deal in the face of growing opposition from the Justice Department and the Federal Communications Commission. Because Comcast didn't have a separation agreement, it does not have to pay Time Warner Cable any sort of separation fee.
