Organizers of the GX3: Everyone Games event have announced that publisher Ubisoft has signed on as "64-bit sponsor." GX3 takes place December 11-13, 2015 at the San Jose Marriott, in downtown San Jose. The event is an adults-only (18-years-old minimum) gathering designed to offer a welcoming space to celebrate geek and gaming culture. Previous GaymerX events have focused on LGBTQ+ friendliness, but organizers are emphasizing that its December event is all inclusive and that everyone is welcomed.

Gen Con organizers call RFRA amendment a good 'first step'

Organizers of Gen Con mailed out a statement to all past Gen Con attendees on their mailing list to talk about the passage of the amendment to Indiana's - The letter, posted online by Polygon, celebrates the passage of the amendment, explains why it will be impossible for anyone visiting Indianapolis to attend Gen Con later this year to be discriminated against, and what further steps the state needs to take to provide stronger protections for the LGBTQ+ community.

BlizzCon 2015 Taking Place Nov. 6 - 7

Blizzard announced that BlizzCon 2015 will take place Nov. 6 - 7 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. Tickets for the event, which sells out very quickly, will go on sale next month.

Valve: No Steam Dev Days This Year

Valve Software says it won't be hosting a Steam Dev Days event like it did last year. Speaking to Gamasutra, the company said that the event is meant to highlight important things the company is working on. Last year the company revealed its Steam Machines and more details on its Steam OS and Steam controller. Apparently the company has nothing to show off this year.

Valve's Chet Faliszek To Host Developer Sessions at EGX Rezzed 2015

Valve Software's Chet Faliszek will host a developer session at EGX Rezzed 2015. EGX Rezzed is a consumer friendly event dedicated to PC, indie and console gaming taking place March 12-14, 2015 at Tobacco Dock, London.

id Software and Bethesda Softworks announced today that QuakeCon 2015 is tentatively scheduled to take place July 23 - 26, 2015. Next year's event will mark the 20th anniversary of the event. QuakeCon 2015 will be at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas.

'GX3: Everyone Games' Gets Fully Funded

With a little under 60 hours to go, the Kickstarter campaign for "GX3: Everyone Games" has managed to surpass its funding goal of $80,000. As of this writing, the LGBTQ gaming event has managed to raise $82,971 from 814 backers.
