As others have illustrated, the shock over this perplexes me. It's NOT like this is something new. The oldest lightgun game of which I'm aware is Crossbow, which hit in 1983, a year before Duck Hunt, yet all these people are shocked, SHOCKED that Nintendo would do something like this... Never mind that the very design of the Wii remote is and always has been ideally suited to shooting at your screen, or that Nintendo was the first company to bring a light gun into people's homes.

Maybe we need video game legislation after all. Parents are obviously incapable of paying any attention whatsoever. (Yes, I'm just being sarcastic, lest someone think I actually want legislation.)
