So, not only is it "obvious" that GTA directly causes violent tendencies in adolescents, but now it would seem "obvious" that all teenagers are playing GTA 24/7. This is the same claim as that made of Cho Sueng Hui: mere hours after the Virginia Tech shooting, Jack was on Fox claiming that they would find that Cho was a Counter-Strike gamer.
What madness is this? First the fallacy that violent games make people homicidal, and now he's claiming that all homicidal people were at some time playing games? That because he killed people, he "obviously" played Grand Theft Auto?
Cmon, Jack. If the game is so "wildly popular" among teens and "obviously" causes teens to murder people, why hasn't the whole country been taken hostage by them yet? Furthermore, what evidence do you have that allows you to claim that "anyone in law enforcement who does not understand or care to understand the direct causal link between violent video game play and these types of random killing events is living in a dream world of his or her own construction"? Your arguments just do not add up.
I doubt Ted Kaczynski trained himself to make bombs on Operation. Seeing as there is no undeniable proof whatsoever of ANY past murders being directly caused by video games, I don't see where you come up with your bull.
