My dad was in Vietnam and still have flashbacks to this day. He sometimes have to take sleeping pills just to get a good night's rest. When the Iraq war started, my mom had to limit the amount of time he could watch the news reports because she found him crying one day while watching. Whatever some people believe, PTSD is real and may never go away.
