I think these people who like to lash out at the internet and gaming culture seem to think that we actually care and that some level of empathy stretches ALLLL the way across the inter-tubes, but it doesn't. Ya, it sucks that someone died, but what can you do? Bitching won't make them come back. Yelling at people you don't know won't honor the memory of a loved one.

You can't take yourself this serious in front of the face of an anonymous mass like gaming culture, or gaming in general. You're going to get flamed, belittled, and emotionally destroyed by some of the nastiest arm-chair philosophers in the world.

The worse part about this Mother's situation is that she's making a spectacle of herself by diving headlong into the spotlight so she can spout the same ill-informed crap that she heard some other mouthy, self-righteous, jerk-off say before her. Oh, boo hoo, you THINK games are bad, and you want everyone else to take your retarded opinion to heart because someone died in a situation that may be vaguely connected to a scape-goat subject.

It's not even about the games anymore.. It's like everyone is clawing for their 15 minutes of fame by taking a pot-shot at the current generation.
