I caught this interview today, but sadly missed Thompson's segment. Stepped out of the car five minutes, came back, caught the references to his call, and was a little bummed.

That said, it was a solid interview overall, though its shortness (twenty minutes or so in total) didn't allow everything to be explored or discussed. In particular, I was disappointed that Conan seemed to find some merit (however little) in MADD's condemnation of drunken driving in the game. He didn't seem to thoroughly understand the view that the difficulty served as a kind of penalty. I was relieved, though, to hear him admit upfront to not having played the game while still having an open mind to discuss its merits, story, characters, etc.
